Peter Fisher is a New York based photographer with roots in architecture and interior design. Graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Peter started out as a real estate photographer in Austin, TX and later branched out into historic preservation where he meticulously documented cultural sites for the Historic Preservation Institute.

Peter’s photography combines a deep appreciation of architectural forms with a layered depth of field in his compositions. His images effortlessly capture city life in what Henri Cartier-Bressen pioneered as “The Decisive Moment”. In both figures and objects, Peter crafts expressive scenes with a keen eye for color and composition.
